I would think that if Isildur did destroy the ring how will they get out of Mordor!The Fellowship will never meet, The Quest for Erebor will be a fail, Smeagol will be a normal hobbit and die!Aragorn would be king and live in Gondor or Arnor(from birth) and not be a ranger! Gandalf,Radagast and Saruman might have never come to Middle earth!Denethor wouldn't be a FIREBALL!!!!

Oh my... This is just too great for words. The faces, the poses and not to mention the throwing scene, hilarious. I always did wonder why things never played out like this, I mean who would suspect anything if Elrond said that Isildur "accidentally" fell in.
